Berig: Zenifer Kriel
The Spelling Bee has many enthusiastic participants. The learners of the school who participated had to read at least 4 books per round. There were two rounds at the Ladybrand Library during the first two terms and two in the third term. The sixteen books were age appropriate, but really good books.
We are very proud of all the participants and the winners. The participants were Monique Smith, who won 1st prize in the quiz section and brought home a Samsung Tablet and a trophy.
Tian-Tian Wang won first prize in spelling, winning a Samsung Tablet and third prize in reading, winning a DVD player.
Miriam Pater was second runner up, winning a DVD player.
Fayzah Razzaq and Melody Chen were the other two participants.
