Ladybrand Primêr se Babbelbekkies

 

We had a very good year with our speakers during the ‘ Babbelbekkies’

Die Babbelbekkies was ‘n goeie geleentheid om ons leerders te leer praat en hul selfvertroue op te bou.

Almal wat bereid was om aan die ‘Babbelbekkies’ deel te neem was klaar ‘n wenner. Baie geluk aan al die wenners.

This term was our last ‘Babbelbekkie’ event and the winners are as follow.

GOLFDAY/GHOLFDAG

Ladybrand Primary School Golfday

Ladybrand Primary School hosted their annual, Grade 7 Golfday, on Saturday the 10th of September. Eighty players came out to play and the overall winners of the day were Messrs. Tumane, Motsokobi, Maqelepo and Kosantsi, scoring 105 points.

Messrs. Tlali, Mothusi, Theko and Correia were placed second with 100 points, followed by Messrs. Kotze, Schutte, B. Olivier and A. Olivier coming in at third place with 90 points.

Congratulations to all the gentlemen on a superb round of golf!

One does not often realise or think of the amount of effort which gets put into events such as these and we’d like to thank every contributor: Ladybrand Golf club, the Grade 7 students, their parents, the players and all our sponsors.

Also, Ladybrand Primary School would like to extend a special word of thanks to the community of Ladybrand – without fail we know we can rely on everyone to help us in achieving success, and Saturday was no exception!

ORATORS EVENING

Ladybrand Primary School – Orators meeting

Ladybrand Primary School hosted it’s Formal orators meeting on 31 August 2016. We would like to thank the judges and orators that participated this year. The standard was high, with well prepared and excellently delivered speeches. We look forward to next year’s orators where we will develop these learners even further.  Congratulations to our winners this term:
